FACE BEHIND THE BUSINESS
Hi, I’m Karis Drover, the owner and injector at Blush Medical Aesthetics. With a background in healthcare and a love for all things beauty, I have combined my clinical knowledge with an artistic eye to help people feel confident and empowered in their own skin.
I am fully certified in both Basic and Advanced Neuromodulators (like Botox) and Dermal Fillers through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics, with accreditation from the Canadian Nurses Association.
I have also completed advanced training in medical aesthetics through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine and THMA, and I am always learning new techniques and treatments to offer the best care possible.
I began my nursing career after graduating with honours in 2017, and I have spent over seven years working across various healthcare settings including Lewisporte After Hours Clinic, North Haven Manor, Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, and the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre. As a float nurse, I had the opportunity to work in many different units such as long term care, medicine, and emergency, which gave me a well rounded and hands on experience in patient care.
In 2022, I decided to follow my passion for beauty and opened my first business in Grand Falls-Windsor, focusing on permanent makeup. I have always been passionate about enhancing natural beauty, and my background in permanent makeup gave me a strong foundation that now supports my work as a cosmetic injector.
I truly believe in enhancing what you already have. My goal is never to change how you look, but to boost your confidence and help you feel your best. I pride myself on creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment where you can feel completely comfortable.
When I am not in the clinic, I am spending time with my family, camping, enjoying boat rides, and watching my kids play sports. I am also a big dog lover, total foodie, and a huge fan of all things beauty.
